Job description
We are looking to recruit a permanent cook to be based at our residential home, Rivacre House located in Ellesmere Port, CH66 1LZ. Rivacre House Supports people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities who are aged between 18 and 65.
Making Space provide services in the heart of local communities, in the comfort of people's own homes, and specialist
care and support services. As Cook you will prepare and present food which is of a high quality and meets the individual needs of service users ensuring that all company and statutory requirements are met.
Salary:
£8.60 per hour
Hours:
8 hours per week (working 2 days a week)
The Role:
- Organise and control the efficient production of quality food
- Meet individual needs and dietary requirements within the agreed budget.
- Ensure that the menu is regularly reviewed with residents
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with legislation and organisation procedures.
- To be involved in welcoming service users to discuss their specific dietary requirements, wishes and preferences
About you:
- Experience working in a kitchen is essential
- Take pride in your work, exceptional attention to detail and reliability are essential.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing with a larger than life personality
- Food and Hygiene Skills
